VIN12 : (10 days/9 nights)

Day 1: Arrive Hanoi

Arrive in Hanoi. Transfer to hotel. Welcome drink and tour briefing. In the evening, we enjoy the water puppet show, a traditional art form, dating from the 11th century.

Day 2: Hanoi

Spending a full day in Vietnam's capital, we take time to visit Ba Dinh square, where we have the opportunity to see Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and former residence. With its history of nearly 1000 years, Hanoi offers us many interesting sights such as the beautiful One Pillar Pagoda, the impressive Temple of Literature (Vietnam first University found in 1076) and the intriguing old quarter with its age old traditional crafts and wares.

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong

Our trip cannot be considered complete without visiting Halong Bay, one of the world's wonders and probably the most stunning scenery in Vietnam. Arriving in Halong, we board our special boat to cruise on the emerald waters dotted with thousands of islands and islets of this limestone archipelago.

Day 4: Halong - Hoi An

We take an early drive from the unforgettable Halong Bay directly to Noi Bai airport for the flight to Danang. After a short drive from Danang, we reach Hoi An, the old merchant town of central Vietnam. In the evening, we walk the quiet streets and explore on our own.

Day 5: Hoi An - Danang

In the morning we wander through this town filled with charm, which was once a flourishing port and meeting place of eastern and western culture during Nguyen dynasty. Lining the narrow streets, we can see many old houses, combining the typical architectural styles of three nations: Vietnam, China and Japan. After lunch, we continue on to Non Nuoc resort, where we can walk up the steps to the Ngu Hanh Marble Mountains and admire the beauty of the caves. Upon arriving in Danang, we visit the fascinating Cham Museum.

From the center of Hue, we board a dragon boat and travel on the scenic Huong River (Perfume River) to Thien Mu Pagoda (built in 1601 by King Nguyen Hoang), followed by a visit to the impressive tomb of King Ming Mang.

Day 7: Hue - HO CHI MINH City (HCMC)

A part of the day is spent exploring the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden City, where the Nguyen Kings settled and ruled Vietnam. The great value of this ancient landmark is the royal architectural complex, which has been officially recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Before taking the flight to HCMC, we stop at the fascinating Dong Ba Market, where we can experience the bustle of daily life in Hue City.

Day 8: HCMC

This city was known as the Pearl of the East in the 1960s. Now, HCMC is the foremost commercial center in Vietnam, attracting the majority of foreign investors. Engulfed in the bustling atmosphere of HCMC, we explore the exciting district of Cho Lon - Chinatown, with its colorful markets and typical pagodas such as Thien Hau, followed by a visit to the historical Reunification Conference Hall.

Day 9: Tay Ninh - Cu Chi

Leaving HCMC, we drive west to the home of the unusual Cao Dai religion and look inside the temple while attending the noon time service. On the way back, we stop at Cu Chi, an area that played a very important role in the war against both the French and the Americans. This famous network of underground tunnels provides us with a remarkable insight into the hardship and cruelty of any war.

Day 10: HCMC - My Tho

Today we travel further South to My Tho and experience the Mekong Delta's intricate waterways by sampan. We visit Thai Son Island and taste typical fruit of the Delta.
