Day 7: Hue - HO CHI MINH City (HCMC)
A part of the day is spent exploring the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden City, where the Nguyen Kings settled and ruled Vietnam. Before taking the flight to HCMC, we stop at the fascinating Dong Ba Market, where we can experience the bustle of daily life in Hue City.
Day 8: HCMC
This city was known as the Pearl of the East in the 1960s. Now, HCMC is the foremost commercial center in Vietnam, attracting the majority of foreign investors. Day 9: Tay Ninh - Cu Chi
Leaving HCMC, we drive west to the home of the unusual Cao Dai religion and look inside the temple while attending the noon time service. On the way back, we stop at Cu Chi, an area that played a very important role in the war against both the French and the Americans. This famous network of underground tunnels provides us with a remarkable insight into the hardship and cruelty of any war.
