HOTEL DESCRIPTION Whale island is in VAN PHONG bay, 60km East of Nha Trang City - an ideal place for resting and enjoying many beautiful sights and relics of Whale island. Coming to Whale island, tourists will learn about the fishing work of the inhabitants, the habits and customs of minority living in VAN PHONG bay. For entertainment, you can play some fantastic water sports such as: Catamaran, Windsurf, diving, or snorkeling to discover diverse coral reefs and marine life in turquoise sea. After wonderful time of exploiting the ocean, you can walk along the beach of soft white sand and coconut trees or climb the mountain to watch lovely animals living in Whale island's forest. Especially, you will stay in very nice bungalows along the beach, have meals with Vietnamese and seafood specialties. The resort is located 80 kms North of Nha Trang at the tip of an archipelago. It is absolute paradise – your own ‘desert island' where you can really get away from it all! The bamboo bungalows right on the beachfront are complete with shower & wc, and offer accommodation for up to 60 guests. Meals are served 3 times a day and are a delicious combination of traditional Vietnamese cuisine with a strong French influence. (Probably something to do with the fact that the resort is owned and run by a Frenchman called Michel together with his lovely Vietnamese wife, Lan Phuong)

FACILITIES & SERVICES

For your leisure, catamarans, wind surf and canoe are available. One of good point at Whale Island is definitely in its underwater landscape. Vietnam starts to be a diving destination. The diversity of the coral as well as the other components of submarine fauna like nudibranches contribute to the reputation of the place. PADI instructors are waiting for you for the initiation or courses for diving on Hon Trau Nam, Hon Kho Trang, Hon Tai and in the pass of Cua Be with its angels fishes of more than 40 cm. Its sting rays other leopard rays ect...
The diving is practically to conduct from Jan 15 to Oct 15 annually. The reputation of the archipelagoes justifies what we run our own diving club. Some reefs are accessible only with palms, masks and tubas. This sites permits to some beginners to familiarize themselves with the submarine motricity in all security for them self and the fauna & flora that they will be able to admire

Room & hotel facilities:

• The 20 traditional bungalows are constructed in bambo with sea sightseeing.
• Simple or double beds with mosquito net, every on pillar "paillote" is equipped with a fan, with a shower room with sink and toilet.
• 5 economic rooms are also available for groups with special price.
• According to the fishing of the night, swordfishe, barracuda, grouper, tuna, crab, shrimps and shellfish are delivered every morning by fishermen.
• The Vietnamese cuisine is famous all over the world, we will propose you the best of it with a new set up menu every day.
• Vegetarian dishes also available on request.
• At the end of an active or idle day, you will enjoy the sunset over the Cordillere from the terrace of the bar.
• At aperitif time people use to speak about sport performances of the day.

Rule & Restriction:

• Children up to 8 years old without extra bed are free of charge.
• Any amendment or cancellation made 8 days prior to check-in date will not be charged. Deposit for at least one night might be required to guarantee your reservation at that point of time.
